Representing Victims of Human Trafficking

The many victims of human trafficking that live, or are sheltered, in the Charlotte area need pro bono lawyers. They need assistance with: seeking restitution for the harm they suffered at the hands of the trafficker; expunction of criminal records; immigration assistance in applying for T- and U-Visas; and family law matters. This program will address the realities of human trafficking, relevant statutory and case law, and victims' legal needs. We invite you to come learn about a growing area of the law and an opportunity to help victims of a horrific crime.
