Latin American governments are increasingly embracing pro-market policies and regulations with a view to fostering foreign investment in the region, especially in the energy sector where investors demand stability and incentives for long-term investments.

On September 29th, 2016, King & Spalding will host a one-day Latin American Energy Forum which will focus on specific areas with new investment opportunities. Industry experts and key players will tackle topics including betting on upstream oil and gas investments in Latin America in a low oil price environment, focus on energy infrastructure in Mexico, new opportunities for LNG to power in Latin America, the emergence of renewable energy, and how to address challenges of developing projects in the region including risk mitigation, FCPA considerations, including anti-corruption due diligence and audits.

We hope that you and your colleagues will be able to join us.
