King & Spalding Advised Eagle Merchant Partners in Its Acquisition of United PF Partners

King & Spalding advised Eagle Merchant Partners, as it completed an equity investment in a newly formed joint venture entity, United PF Partners, LLC. Concurrently with EMP's equity investment, United PF completed the acquisition of approximately 60 operating Planet Fitness clubs and area development agreements relating to the development of approximately 70 additional franchises from 6 existing franchise groups.  Following completion of the transaction, United PF became the largest franchisee in the Planet Fitness franchise system.
