backNEW YORK, Dec. 5, 2023 — King & Spalding won the Innovative Lawyers in Cyber Security and Data Protection award from the Financial Times as part of its FT Innovative Lawyers North America Awards 2023 program.
The publication recognized King & Spalding for its work scoring a legal victory for Google against the Russian operators of a botnet known as Glupteba, which was used to steal login and account information to commit crimes, including theft and fraud and to use other people’s computers to illicitly mine cryptocurrency.
