backHouston Corporate, Finance and Investments partner David Lang will speak at the Reuters Energy Transition North America 2022 conference on Nov. 9. David will chair a panel on “What Does the Future hold for North American Natural Gas?” as part of its Carbon Management Strategies. As the energy sector transitions to cleaner energy sources, his discussion will focus on (i) what will provide the dispatchable, reliable and low carbon baseload to balance to grid and keep the lights on, (ii) the role of natural gas within the energy transition, and (iii) evaluate natural gas’ potential as a lower-carbon bridge fuel on the path to zero.
The panel will be joined by Colin Parfitt, Vice President Midstream of Chevron; Chad Zamarin, SVP of Corporate Strategic Development of The Williams Companies, Jon Vander Ark, President and CEO of Republic Services, and Will Jordan, Executive Vice President and General Counsel of EQT Corporation.
