Anne Voigts Appointed to ABA’s Standing Committee on Amicus Curiae Briefs


Silicon Valley partner Anne Voigts has been appointed to the American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Amicus Curiae Briefs, for a three-year term. Anne is a partner in the National Appellate Practice on King & Spalding’s Business Litigation team. She joined the firm in 2016 after serving more than 10 years as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Criminal Appeals Sections of the Northern and Central Districts of California. During her tenure with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Anne argued more than 50 times before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and briefed dozens more. She also tried two cases to a jury and frequently advised trial teams on legal issues arising before, during, and after trial. Anne served as a law clerk to Associate Justice John Paul Stevens on the U.S. Supreme Court (October Term 2000) and Judge Stephen Reinhardt on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (1999-2000). She also served as an extern to then-Judge Sonia Sotomayor on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit (1999).
