Amelia Medina to Present Award at Latin American Association Compañeros Luncheon

Atlanta Special Matters associate Amelia Medina will present an award April 14 at the Latin American Association’s 27th Annual Compañeros Luncheon in Atlanta. Medina is a board member of the LAA, an organization that helps Latino immigrants to improve their lives with services such as language classes, emergency relief for families in crisis, consultations with social workers, education and outreach regarding social benefits, employment and job-search counseling, computer literacy courses, and support for seniors.
