Robert E. Rice Named Director of PCAOB’s Division of Enforcement and Investigations

On March 22, 2023, the PCAOB announced the appointment of Robert E. Rice as Director of its Division of Enforcement and Investigations, effective March 31, 2023.  Mr. Rice was Chief Counsel to SEC Chair Mary Jo White from 2013 to 2015 and most recently served as Special Counsel for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey since 2022.  With Rice’s appointment, Acting Director of the DEI, Mark A. Adler, will retire from the PCAOB.
