PCAOB Chairman Logothetis and Board Members Calabria and Laughton Sworn In

As we previously reported, the SEC appointed Demetrios (Jim) Logothetis as PCAOB Chairman, and Mark Calabria, Steven Laughton, and Kyle Hauptman as Board Members on January 30, 2026.  Logothetis, Calabria, and Laughton were sworn in at a ceremony at the SEC on February 10, 2026.  Hauptman’s swearing-in remains pending as he continues to serve as Chairman of the National Credit Union Administration until his successor is appointed and confirmed.

In remarks prepared for the ceremony, Chairman Logothetis called independent oversight of auditors “a critical pillar of the investor confidence that powers the U.S. capital markets.”  Board Members Calabria and Laughton each highlighted investor protection in their prepared remarks for the ceremony.
