George R. Botic Sworn In as PCAOB Board Member

On October 25, 2023, George R. Botic, CPA was sworn in as a PCAOB Board Member, replacing Duane DesParte, CPA, whose second term ended on October 24, 2023.

Mr. Botic has been with the PCAOB since 2003.  Since 2018, Mr. Botic has served as the Director of the PCAOB’s Division of Registration and Inspections.  Prior to that, Mr. Botic served as Director of the Board’s Office of International Affairs and as a Special Advisor to former Chair James R. Doty.
