China Feeds the Agriculture Sector with Additional Financial Support

On August 5, 2016, the Ministry of Agriculture of China (MOA) and the Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) jointly issued the Circular on Financial Support for the Rural Area Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Industry Integrated Development Model Projects. Under this program, the MOA and the ABC pledge to increase policy and financial support to support a batch of model projects in integrated development of primary, secondary, and tertiary industries in rural areas, aiming to boost the integrated development of main agricultural product production, storage, primary processing, fine and deep processing, comprehensive utilization, sales, food, and tourism.
