CDC Reveals New Guidelines for Fully Vaccinated Individuals

According to updated guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), fully vaccinated individuals do not need to wear a mask outdoors, except in crowded outdoor areas. In addition, the updated guidelines stipulate that fully vaccinated individuals can dine unmasked at an outdoor restaurant, visit each other indoors without wearing masks or social distancing, and travel domestically without quarantining after travel.

However, in indoor public areas, the CDC says that “fully vaccinated people should continue to protect themselves and others by wearing a well-fitted mask, covering coughs and sneezes, washing hands often, and following any applicable workplace or school guidance.”
