• A UK oil company in relation to its country entry and upstream oil & gas operations in Morocco
• British American Tobacco in relation to the structuring of its entry and investment in Morocco
• A Singaporean group on the M&A/corporate due diligence of the Moroccan assets of a French hospitality group, in the framework of an intended joint venture between the Singaporean group and the French Group
• OMV on the US$866 million acquisition of the Tunisian oil exploration and production assets of Pioneer Natural Resources
• Various IOCs on the negotiation of gas sales agreement with the Algerian National Oil Company (Sonatrach)
• A U.S. oil company regarding the direct negotiation with the Algerian authorities of all aspects of an unconventional development in Algeria, including downstream gas offtake undertakings
• CEPSA in relation to the renegotiation of its contractual upstream oil & gas arrangements with the Algerian National Oil Company (Sonatrach)

Nora Djeraba is a counsel in King & Spalding’s Paris office. Her practice focuses on general corporate and commercial advice to international clients in relation to their transactions and projects in North Africa across a wide range of industry sectors, including in particular Energy/oil and gas. She is fluent in French, English and Arabic.

Nora is a French qualified lawyer. She grew up and was educated in Algeria and holds dual French/Algerian nationality.

Before joining King & Spalding in 2013, Nora worked for four years in the Energy & Infrastructure group of an international City law firm in Paris.
