Micah D. Hawkins

Micah Hawkins advises clients on the commercial and contractual issues that shape the successful delivery of energy, infrastructure, and technology projects. Drawing on experience as a civil engineer, project manager, and in-house counsel for a global EPC contractor, he helps clients develop contracting strategies, negotiate complex project agreements, allocate risk, and address execution challenges throughout the project life cycle.

Micah assists clients with the negotiation and administration of engineering, procurement, construction, operations and maintenance, equipment supply, and other project agreements. He also advises on project acquisitions and investments, contract diligence, commercial risk assessment, and execution strategies informed by firsthand experience delivering the types of projects he now helps clients develop.

His recent experience includes data center developments and acquisitions, digital infrastructure transactions, utility-scale energy storage projects, and major energy and industrial developments. He has also worked on equipment supply arrangements and long-term service agreements in connection with power and energy projects.

Micah serves on the Oilfield and Energy Services Committee of the Institute for Energy Law and on the Houston Advisory Board of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution.
