• Advised an international engineering contractor in an ICC arbitration concerning over $50 million claims and disputes arising out of an EPC contract for the design and supply of signalling and train control systems for an Asian rail project
• Advised a European/Asian joint venture contractor in an ICC arbitration concerning over $100 million claims and disputes arising under a subcontract for mechanical and piping works for an LNG project in Qatar
• Advised an international engineering contractor on its $250 million claim against the owner for delay and associated prolongation costs in respect of an offshore UK wind farm project
• Representing a European contractor in an ICC arbitration concerning significant claims and counterclaims ($1 billion) under an EPC contract for the development of an oil and gas project in North Africa
• Representing a contractor in an LCIA arbitration concerning significant claims and counterclaims ($400 million) arising out of the termination of a contract for the development of an oil and gas project in Iraq
• Representing a European contractor in an arbitration concerning the development of a waste to energy plant
• Represented an owner in an expert determination and subsequent SCCA arbitration proceedings concerning claims for additional sums under a civils contract for a giga infrastructure project in Saudi Arabia

• Advised an oil major in relation to claims and disputes with the contractor in relation to the construction and delivery of an offshore gas production platform in the North Sea

• Advised a European shipbuilding contractor in an LMAA arbitration concerning around $20 million disputes arising out of a design, construction and supply subcontract for a self-propelled crane pontoon
• Advised an international EPC contractor on its claims against the owner for delay and associated prolongation costs arising out of COVID-19 in respect of a major nuclear power plant project
• Advised an international commodities company on claims made by a contractor and its right to terminate a series of contracts for works to improve energy efficiency at its plants in Poland and Spain
• Advised an owner in relation to the resumption of a suspended landmark project in Saudi Arabia, drafting and negotiating the EPC contract

Martina has experience in advising and representing clients (both owners and contractors) involved in disputes regarding major infrastructure, energy and construction projects around the world, including Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America.
