Hélène advises companies, shareholders, creditors, investment funds and court-appointed officers on high-stakes restructuring matters, both amicable and judicial, including cross-border cases. She combines sharp legal skills with strong financial insight to craft strategic, practical solutions for distressed businesses.
Hélène guides clients through the full lifecycle of restructuring and insolvency matters in France and internationally. She structures and implements turnaround plans, leads debt renegotiations, manages distressed M&A and asset disposals, and steers clients through formal insolvency proceedings, always with a focus on achieving the best possible outcome for the stakeholders she represents.
Her ability to manage complex, multi-party situations - involving banks, bondholders, state authorities and corporate groups with layered structures - enables her to align competing interests and move transactions forward efficiently.
Trained at HEC Paris before entering the legal profession, Hélène brings a distinctive financial perspective to her restructuring practice. She leverages this dual skill set to bridge the gap between legal strategy and commercial reality, helping clients identify and activate the business, financial and operational levers that drive successful restructurings.
Hélène also advises on financing transactions and the structuring of security packages - including trust (fiducies) - in both distressed and performing (in bonis) contexts. She further assists clients with employment law matters arising in connection with restructurings, including the design and implementation of redundancy plans (plans de sauvegarde de l'emploi, or PSE), as well as workforce-related issues outside of distressed situations.
