ATLANTA, Nov. 2, 2020 — The United Way of Greater Atlanta honored King & Spalding partner Meghan Magruder with a Woman of Purpose award at its 13th Annual Women United Women’s Leadership Breakfast.
The United Way of Greater Atlanta recognized Magruder for her long record of community service to the non-profit organization. She currently serves on its Board of Directors and Executive Committee, chairs its Community Impact Committee, and serves on its grants committee for both the Community Foundation of Greater Atlanta COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund and the United for Racial Justice and Healing Fund. She has also served on the board of directors of Georgia Legal Services, the board of trustees for the Rabun-Gap Nacoochee School, the board of counselors of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and has also served on the board of directors of the Atlanta Women’s Foundation and the Atlanta Children’s Shelter.
