Legal 500 US Ranks 21 King & Spalding Practices, Recognizes 79 of Firm’s Lawyers in 2014 Guide to Leading U.S. Law Firms


LONDON, July 8, 2014 — Legal 500 has once again recognized King & Spalding as one of the foremost law firms in the United States, ranking 21 of the firm’s practices as among the best in the nation and recognizing 79 individual lawyers for their contributions to their fields in the publisher’s 2014 edition of its U.S. guide.

In addition, the firm was named a finalist for the 2014 Legal 500 USA Law Firms Award in the categories of Healthcare and International Trade. Legal 500 selected the award finalists based on its research for its 2014 guide, which included more than 50,000 interviews of law firms and their clients.

In the Legal 500 United States 2014 guide, the firm retained its Tier 1 rankings in the categories of “Energy: Litigation,” “International Arbitration” and “Product Liability and Mass Tort Defense: Toxic Tort.” Also, seven King & Spalding lawyers were listed in the elite “leading lawyers” list, considered among the most outstanding lawyers nationwide:
