King & Spalding represented All Seas Capital, a pan-European private capital fund, on an investment in Sereni, the leading funeral services platform across Belgium, Germany and Poland. The investment will support Sereni’s buy-and-build strategy and further scaling of the platform.
Sereni was founded in 2016 with a dual vision to improve and modernise the client experience, and to change and improve the dynamics for the funeral professional. More information on the deal can be found here.
The King & Spalding team advising All Seas Capital was led by London-based William Charnley and Marcus Young and included Will Morris and John Lim on corporate, Russell Warren and Michael Langan on tax and Andrew Brown and Annie Fan on finance. Frankfurt-based Benjamin Koepple, Peter Stainer and Florian Geuder (corporate) and Axel Schilder and Martin Wolff (tax) were also part of the team.
