backKing & Spalding advised Douglaston Development, who announced the next steps in reimagining Gansevoort Square—located on Little West 12th Street between Washington Street and 10th Avenue in Manhattan—that will deliver more affordable housing for New Yorkers and new retail space for local residents and visitors.
After a competitive RFP process, Gansevoort Square Partners, a joint venture comprised of Douglaston Development and Kinwood Partners, has been selected to build 590 units of high-quality, mixed-income housing and to activate the ground floor with vibrant community and retail space, both of which will be located on the residential site of Gansevoort Square.
