Baker Hughes to Sell Waygate Technologies Business to Hexagon for $1.45 billion

King & Spalding is advising Baker Hughes (NASDAQ:BKR) in the sale of its Waygate Technologies business to Hexagon AB (Nasdaq Stockholm: HEXA) for approximately $1.45 billion in cash, subject to customary closing adjustments. Waygate Technologies is part of Baker Hughes’ Industrial and Energy Technology segment and a global leader in advanced non-destructive testing for the inspection of critical assets without disruption. Hexagon is a global leader in measurement technologies.
