The pro bono work of three King & Spalding lawyers was recognized at the Her Justice Commitment to Justice Awards, which honors lawyers assisting “individuals living in poverty in NYC who need help with family, matrimonial, or immigration legal issues,” according to the organization.
Partners Ana Daily and Nicole Pereira were honored with the Justice Legal Team Award, which recognizes “teams of pro bono attorneys who work together as an impressive unit – determined, coordinated, and ahead of the curve – to deliver wins for their clients.”
Associate Peter Kim was awarded the John K. Geiger Award, which recognizes volunteer attorneys who demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to pro bono legal services for their clients.
Ana Daily provides strategic counsel and advocacy in high-stakes matters and regularly helps clients navigate investigations involving federal, state, and international enforcement authorities, as well as sensitive internal reviews, with a focus on financial services and AI- and technology-related issues.
Nicole Pereira helps companies and executives navigate government investigations, regulatory enforcement actions, internal investigations, and complex cross-border disputes. She develops practical strategies that manage risk, protect business objectives, and address challenges spanning regulators, litigation, and multiple jurisdictions.
Peter Kim advises clients facing significant cross-border legal and business risks, helping them navigate complex international disputes, government regulatory matters, corporate internal investigations, and related civil litigation.
The award ceremony will take place on Wednesday, September 30, in New York City.
