Bio

Peter Kim advises clients facing significant cross-border legal and business risks, helping them navigate complex international disputes, government regulatory matters, corporate internal investigations, and related civil litigation.

Peter's practice focuses on high-stakes disputes and investigations spanning multiple jurisdictions. He works with multinational companies to develop and execute coordinated global strategies, manage crises, and mitigate legal and business risks arising from parallel proceedings, regulatory scrutiny, and cross-border enforcement actions.

In addition, Peter counsels clients in connection with government regulatory and internal investigations, including matters involving the DOJ, State AGs, and other regulatory authorities.

Peter received his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and earned the Parker School Certificate for Achievement in International and Comparative Law. He served as Executive Editor of the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law. Peter also holds an M.A. from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a B.A. from Columbia University. Prior to joining King & Spalding, he practiced in the New York office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
