Tucker W. McCarthy

Tucker represents lenders and borrowers in secured and unsecured finance transactions, with a focus on commercial real estate finance, leveraged finance, private placements and asset-based lending. He assists clients with structuring, negotiating and closing complex deals with a practical, business-minded approach tailored to their objectives.

Resident in the Washington, D.C. office, Tucker advises financial institutions, debt funds and other market participants on a broad range of financing matters. His practice includes acquisition, construction, portfolio and other real estate financings, as well as leveraged and asset-based transactions. Clients value Tucker for delivering clear, efficient advice and staying focused on execution from term sheet through closing.

Before joining King & Spalding, Tucker served as a law clerk to the Honorable Denise K. Vowell and the Honorable Christian J. Moran of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims Office of Special Masters.
