Ron Franklin

Ron D. Franklin is Co-Head of the firm's Global Fund Finance team. Ron advises clients across a broad spectrum of finance matters, including all types of fund financings, secured and unsecured lending transactions, domestic and cross-border acquisition financings, project financings, workouts, restructurings, and general banking matters.

Ron’s fund finance practice spans subscription facilities, NAV and hybrid facilities, GP and management company financings, secondaries and liquidity solutions, and bespoke fund-level financing structures for asset managers, private capital sponsors, and financial institutions. Ron also counsels corporate clients on financing matters, stock and asset acquisitions, contract negotiations, and general corporate matters

Prior to joining King & Spalding, Ron was a partner at an international law firm, where he served as co-head of the Corporate & Fund Finance Group, leader of the Fund Finance practice, and a member of the firm's Executive Committee.
