Peter C. Y. Kim

• Advising and representing major global technology companies with global litigation and risk mitigation strategy across multiple jurisdictions in matters relating to Russia and the international response to the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

• Advising and representing multiple major corporate clients in civil litigation and commercial and investment arbitration under the AAA, ICC, JAMS, LCIA, and UNCITRAL rules in high-stakes breach-of-contract, post-M&A, construction, and investment treaty disputes.

Peter Kim advises clients facing significant cross-border risk, helping them navigate complex international disputes, government regulatory matters, corporate internal investigations, and related civil litigation.

Peter's practice focuses on high-stakes international disputes spanning multiple jurisdictions. He works with multinational companies to develop and execute coordinated global litigation strategies, manage crises, and mitigate legal and business risks arising from cross-border proceedings.

In addition, Peter counsels clients in connection with government regulatory and internal investigations and has represented companies in investigations and litigation involving the DOJ, State AGs, and other regulatory authorities.

Peter received his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and earned the Parker School Certificate for Achievement in International and Comparative Law. He served as Executive Editor of the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law. Peter also holds an M.A. from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a B.A. from Columbia University. Prior to joining King & Spalding, he practiced in the New York office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
