  • Advising Masdar on its landmark joint venture with OMV to develop a 140 MW green hydrogen plant in Austria.
  • Advising the developer on the design, construction and financing of a first of a kind sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) facility un the UAE.
  • Advising a government on the structuring and delivery of an integrated lithium value chain, including mine, process facility, lithium hydroxide refinery, CAM and battery manufacturing facilities.
  • Advising Masdar Green Hydrogen on various green hydrogen, ammonia and methanol projects.
  • Advising World Energy on the offtake, design, construction and financing of its 3GW green ammonia production facility in Canada.
  • Advising Cory and Sheen Parkside in connection with their thermal battery joint venture seeking to decarbonise heating by supplying district heat networks and industrials with low-carbon heat.
  • Advising leading global alternative asset manager on several acquisition financings including of FPSO and associated assets in Brazil and of upstream natural gas assets in the North Sea.
  • Advising the European Investment Bank (EIB) on the financing and development of various energy projects across Europe.
  • Advising renewables producer Voltalia on the financing of its solar project, which included a first of its kind green energy deal with the City of London.
  • Advising JG Pears on the development and financing of a biomass plant providing heat and energy to its own animal rendering business.

Mining and commodities

  • Advising U.S. based critical minerals company, Virtus, and Indian-listed mining and metals company, Lloyds Metals & Energy, on their joint acquisition of the Chemaf group, which owns one of the largest copper and cobalt mining operations located in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
  • Advising multiple sponsors on strategic cross-border investments in critical minerals and rare earths projects across Africa and South America.
  • Advising Compagnie des Bauxites de Guinée (CBG) - owned by Rio Tinto, Alcoa, Dadco and the Government of Guinea - on the $1.1bn expansion of its Sangaredi bauxite mine in western Guinea.
  • Advising Nebari LLC on its accordion loan facility to Empress Royalty Corp., a royalty and streaming company. The facility provided capital for acquiring, producing, or near-production royalty and streaming assets, including in Mexican mining projects, Pinos in Zacatecas and the Tahuehueto silver project in Durango.
  • Advising Alufer Mining on the development financing of its bauxite mine in Guinea. The financing was provided through a mixture of senior, mezzanine and convertible debt from Orion Resources, RCF and AFC.
  • Advising Turquoise Hill Resources on the $6bn development of the Oyu Tolgoi copper and gold mine in Mongolia, including in relation to the project financing, inter-shareholder matters with Rio Tinto and the Government of Mongolia (including the cost overrun financing) and the development of a long-term power solution in Mongolia.
  • Advising project lenders on the development and financing by Ivanhoe Mines of its $1.5bn underground mining project in South Africa.

Infrastructure

  • Advising Standard Bank and Stanbic on the development and project financing of several first-of-a kind/first in-country roads projects in Kenya, including on the negotiations with the Government of Kenya and the MIGA guarantee arrangements. The projects were developed under the Government of Kenya’s roads annuity programme and underpinned by a Chinese financing solution and Sinosure guarantee.
  • Advising Assured Guaranty on various bond financings of student accommodation in the UK, including at the University of Kingston and the University of Essex.
  • Advising Balfour Beatty on the development and bond financing of Sussex’s West Slope student accommodation project.
  • Advising CBG on the US$1.1 billion expansion of its Sangaredi bauxite mine in western Guinea, including the expansion of a multi-user railway (a first-of-its-kind shared infrastructure asset) and the associated infrastructure sharing arrangements among CBG, the State of Guinea and third-party mining projects.

Nadia Cinti has extensive experience advising on the financing and delivery of complex energy, infrastructure and natural resources projects, with a particular focus on critical minerals, low carbon energy and energy transition. 

Nadia works across the full project lifecycle, executing large-scale international projects and strategic investments for market-leading organisations. Her clients include corporations, sponsors, governments, banks, funds, development finance institutions, export credit agencies and other financial institutions.

Nadia’s expertise covers a range of financing structures, including project finance, acquisition finance, leveraged finance, sustainable finance, and other forms of structured debt solutions. Her experience also extends to the commodity value chain, advising corporates on their long-term offtake and tolling arrangements. 

Nadia has practiced in London, Abu Dhabi, Greece and the Netherlands.
