Global Banking & Markets named the project its Water & Utilities Deal of the Year at the 2026 GBM Saudi Arabia Awards. InfraGlobal Middle East and North Africa recognized the project as District Cooling Deal of the Year at the 2026 InfraGlobal Awards.

Both award programs recognize exceptional transactions and deals from sovereign, corporate, and financial institution issuers and borrowers.

The Diriyah Gate Giga Project involves a long-term concession between the sponsors and Diriyah Company to develop an advanced district cooling plant to serve the $6 billion Diriyah giga-project in Saudi Arabia, located 15 minutes northwest of Riyadh.
