Sarah Virginia Warburg-Koechlin

Sarah is a trial lawyer specializing in mass tort litigation, with a particular focus on emerging contaminants and environmental torts.  She also has extensive experience litigating large-scale products liability cases brought as individual cases, consolidated cases, MDLs and class actions. 

Sarah’s engaged and passionate approach to lawyering shows in her trial presentations, oral arguments, interactions with fact and expert witnesses, and strong client relationships.  This passion and energy is also reflected in Sarah’s extensive legal issues and writing experience, both in motions practice and at the appellate level.  Sarah’s litigation advisory and consulting practice involves emerging chemicals such as PFAS, ethylene oxide, and other air- and water-born substances. Sarah also has substantial experience litigating complex business disputes and both international and domestic arbitrations.

Sarah also maintains a robust pro bono practice, with a focus on special education and immigration matters including asylum. She has earned a pro bono service award every year since joining the firm in 2021. She has also consistently been nominated for the “Mentor of the Year” award, and is committed to mentoring junior and mid-level associates.  Before law school, Sarah was a bilingual victim advocate for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, and she continues to bring her advocacy and passion for helping people who cannot afford appropriate legal assistance to her practice at the firm.
