Michelle (Ferrare) Huntsman focuses her practice on regulatory and healthcare investigations and has participated in internal investigations and represents clients facing federal and state investigations and prosecutions. Ms. Huntsman also has experience in regulatory issues affecting health care mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, and she advises clients in the areas of federal and state fraud and abuse laws, including the federal Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, false claims and civil monetary penalties, as well as licensing, operations and billing. She counsels clients regarding HIPAA privacy and security issues, such as developing business associate agreements, notices and compliance programs.
