Michelle Huang advises on a broad range of cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, corporate restructurings, and general corporate matters across Southeast Asia and beyond. 

Michelle has extensive experience coordinating multi-jurisdictional transactions and restructuring projects, supporting clients throughout the transaction lifecycle from structuring, due diligence and regulatory analysis through to negotiation, signing and post-completion integration. Her experience spans a wide range of sectors and includes advising leading private equity firms, sovereign wealth funds, asset managers and multinational groups on investments, acquisitions, divestments and post-acquisition restructurings. 

As a dual-qualified lawyer (England and Wales and Indonesia), Michelle brings a combination of international and local legal expertise to transactions across the region. Having practised at both a leading Indonesian law firm and a top-tier international law firm, she is particularly well placed to help clients navigate the legal, regulatory and commercial complexities of investments and transactions in Southeast Asia. 

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Laws from Indonesia and a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney. Michelle is fluent in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
