People

Meredith Pohl is a litigation partner in the Washington, D.C., office of King & Spalding. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and appeals, as well as congressional, governmental, and regulatory investigations. Meredith has represented clients in federal district and appellate courts across the country in a wide range of disputes including drug-pricing and federal preemption litigation, oil and gas and environmental class actions, antitrust litigation, and False Claims Act and whistleblower suits. She also regularly represents clients in Congressional and other governmental investigations, including investigations into civil rights compliance.

 

Prior to private practice, Meredith served as Deputy General Counsel to United States Senator Rob Portman, as well as Counsel to the United States Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations and the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. She also previously clerked for judges on the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Tenth Circuits.
