• Emirates Global Aluminum (EGA) on the acquisition of a majority stake in Spectro Alloys Corporation, a leading secondary foundry alloy producer in the United States.
• Petrochemical Industries Company K.S.C. on the establishment of its joint venture with SKC Co., involving the acquisition of a 49% stake in SKC's Korean chemical business following a Korean statutory carve-out process (implied joint venture company value US$1.2bn at closing).
• ADES Investments on the US$516m takeover of ADES International by a consortium entity owned by ADES Investments, The Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia and Zamil Investments, including negotiating the bidding consortium shareholding arrangements.
• A major regional investment entity with two separate investment transactions in each case to acquire an interest in entities holding rights to Saudi Aramco's crude oil / gas pipeline systems within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (overall transaction value exceeding US$14.4bn and US$15.5bn, respectively).
• Sojitz on all aspects of the acquisition of a substantial interest in the Mirfa IWPP project in Abu Dhabi from Shuaa Capital, one of the first sales of an Abu Dhabi IWPP interest.
