Jonathan Green

• Representing major global technology companies in anti-enforcement and related proceedings before the Commercial Court against sanctioned Russian state media entities. The proceedings related to the sanctioned entities' efforts to enforce a Russian judgment of the equivalent of £102 nonillion.
• Motorola Solutions, Inc & Anor v Hytera Communications Corporation & Ors [2025] EWCA Civ 1667 - representing the appellants in proceedings before the Court of Appeal regarding the proper construction of provisions of an Act of Parliament and the Court's power to revoke a final judgment.
• Acting for three individuals in High Court proceedings brought against Gerry Adams for injuries sustained in three separate bombing attacks perpetrated by the Provisional IRA. The proceedings saw Gerry Adams cross-examined in an English Court for the first time in history.
• Acting for a leading global heavy industry company in a London-seated LMAA arbitration brought against two respondents for breach of exclusive jurisdiction and arbitration clauses.
• Acting for a major global fertiliser producer in a London-seated LCIA arbitration brought against a trading company for breach of contract.

Jonathan's practice involves international commercial arbitration and English Court litigation. He has represented both individuals and large corporate clients across a broad range of disputes.

Jonathan has extensive experience working on complex cross-jurisdictional disputes and his practice spans an array of industries and sectors, including financial services, aviation, energy, construction, and technology. In the English Courts, he has represented clients in relation to a wide variety of matters before both the High Court and the Court of Appeal. He has also acted for clients in international arbitrations under the LCIA, UNCITRAL, SIAC, and LMAA Rules.

Jonathan trained with the firm prior to qualifying and is conversational in Russian.
