John Hale

John is an associate in the Private Funds and Real Estate practices at King & Spalding and focuses on fund formation and offerings, secondary transactions and general corporate matters for private companies and private equity funds. John has experience advising institutional investor clients in connection with portfolio and asset level acquisitions, including advising funds sponsors and management teams in “sponsor-level” strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, management “lift outs,” strategic investments, recapitalizations and other liquidity planning for sponsors and their owners.

John received his Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania magna cum laude in 2016. He then received his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2019.
