JoAnn Szucs (Jo)

Jo is Counsel in King & Spalding’s Corporate, Finance and Investments practice group. Jo advises employers on wide-ranging employee benefit matters, including the design and implementation of retirement and health and welfare programs on a domestic and global basis. As a member of the Global Human Capital and Compliance and Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practices at King & Spalding, she assists multinational employers with complex multi-jurisdictional employee benefits and compensation initiatives and human capital compliance matters.

Jo has experience with plan documentation and drafting, plan qualification (including the correction of plan operational errors and responding to matters before the Department of Labor and Internal Revenue Service), plan governance (including fiduciary and investment matters) and participant communications. Jo regularly assists clients navigate recordkeeper RFPs, contract negotiation and corporate transactions. She assists clients identify sensible and legally compliant solutions to their executive compensation and employee benefit needs.
