Government Matters

Isabel is an associate in King & Spalding's Washington, D.C. office and a member of the firm's Special Matters practice group. Her practice focuses primarily on government investigations, internal investigations, white-collar criminal defense, and related civil and criminal litigation. 

Isabel earned her law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. During her time at UVA, Isabel served as a student attorney in both the Virginia Innocence Project and Criminal Defense clinics, representing clients in all stages of pre- and post-trial criminal litigation. She also served on the Virginia Journal of Social Policy and the Law, was a quarterfinalist in the William Minor Lile intramural moot court competition, and raised over $45,000 for charity as a Co-Director of the 42nd Annual UVA Law Softball Invitational. 

Originally from Columbia, South Carolina, Isabel attended the University of South Carolina Honors College. She earned her B.A. in Political Science and B.A. in History summa cum laude. Between college and law school, Isabel worked as a legal assistant at a criminal defense firm, helping defendants navigate a wide range of state and federal proceedings.
