Hamilton represents a wide range of healthcare and life sciences clients in high-stakes False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback Statute matters, including civil and criminal government investigations, internal investigations, and active qui tam litigation. Hamilton's clients include academic medical centers, national and regional hospital systems, health IT software developers, medical device manufacturers, laboratory companies, and home health providers. Hamilton's has experience with multiple United States Attorney's Offices, several Justice Department components including the Civil Fraud Section and Criminal Frauds, a number of State Attorney's General offices, and various other government regulators. Hamilton also advises clients on a wide range of proactive compliance measures to minimize their enforcement risk profile.

Hamilton maintains an active pro bono practice including federal jury trials, with a focus on free speech rights and §1983 actions.

Hamilton earned his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law. During law school, he served as the Comments Editor for the Journal of Constitutional Law and as a Vice President of the school’s chapter of the Federalist Society. Hamilton received his undergraduate degrees cum laude and magna cum laude from the University of Maryland in Government and Philosophy respectively, and was a Banneker/Key Scholar.
