Elysia Stellakis has been involved in a diverse range of English High Court commercial litigation, involving multi-party cases across jurisdictions, as well as commercial and investment treaty arbitrations under leading institutional rules. Elysia has been involved in cases including issues of breach of contract, professional negligence and construction disputes in industries such as financial services, infrastructure, engineering and oil and gas.

In parallel, Elysia assists the firm’s Special Matters and Government Investigations practice. She advises corporates and individuals in respect of criminal and regulatory investigations by UK and foreign authorities, corporate internal investigations and compliance matters. Elysia has experience advising across a range of industry sectors on various financial crime subjects, including: bribery and corruption, fraud, market abuse, and money laundering.

Elysia also represent clients in criminal matters, providing assistance from the earliest stages of criminal proceedings, including during the investigative phase, where early strategic engagement with investigators and prosecuting authorities and careful management of disclosure and evidence-gathering can be critical to the outcome of the case, and can lead to the matter not proceeding, either through a no charge decision or through the prosecuting authority dropping charges after a review.
