Adelarin E. Ukhuegbe (Delarin)

• Advised IQVentures Holdings, LLC in its $504 million "take-private" acquisition of The Aaron's Company, Inc. (former NYSE: AAN).
• Advised NCR Voyix Corporation (NYSE: VYX) in its $2.45 billion sale of its digital banking business to Veritas Capital.

Delarin is an associate in the Atlanta office of King & Spalding and member of the Corporate, Finance, and Investments practice group. Delarin’s practice focuses on the representation of public and private companies, private equity funds, and strategic corporate investors in a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance.

Delarin graduated summa cum laude and Top 10 in her class from the Georgia State University College of Law in December 2022. While in law school, she served as an Associate Student Writing Editor for the Georgia State University Law Review and participated in the Landlord-Tenant Mediation Clinic at the Fulton County Magistrate Court as a Georgia registered mediator. Delarin also served as the first appointed Diversity and Inclusion Officer for the Student Bar Association (SBA) and Chair of the SBA Diversity Committee and was also a member of the Black Law Students Association. As a 1L student, she received the College of Law’s Outer Barristers’ Guild Award, which goes to the top 10 first year students, and went on to win seven best-in-class awards for her performance in individual courses including Corporate Compliance, Corporate Finance, Corporations, and Arts and Entertainment Law.

Prior to law school, she worked for several years in process and operations management roles for various industrial food and beverage manufacturers.

Delarin received an M.B.A from Kennesaw State University (GA) in 2015 and a B.Sc. in Chemical and Bio-Molecular Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2010.
