Darren focuses his practice on the defense of sponsors and fiduciaries of employee benefit plans in ERISA litigation matters.  He defends clients in a variety of ERISA class actions involving retirement plan investments, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and other complex employee benefits litigation. Darren also counsels clients in connection with governmental investigations involving employee benefit plans and assists clients with disputes and internal investigations involving executive compensation arrangements.  Darren was recently selected as a Next Generation Lawyer by The Legal 500 for ERISA Litigation. 

Darren's representative clients include The Coca-Cola Company, The Home Depot, Bank of America, SunTrust Banks, Waste Management, and Aon Corporation. 

He graduated, magna cum laude, from The University of Tennessee College of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif.
