Daniel Choi

• Represented Quantum Capital Group in a DOJ second request investigation concerning its $4.7 billion sale of Cogentrix Energy, a U.S. independent power producer, to Vistra Corporation.
• Representing NCR Atleos on antitrust aspects of its $6.6 billion acquisition by The Brinks Company.
• Represented 3M on antitrust aspects of its acquisition of Madison Fire & Rescue, in partnership with Bain Capital.
• Advising clinically and financially integrated provider networks in aspects of competitor collaborations

Daniel is an associate in the firm's antitrust practice in Washington, D.C. His practice focuses on regulatory approval of mergers and acquisitions, civil antitrust litigation, and government investigations. He graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2023, and while in law school, was the president of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association. Previously, Daniel served as a legal extern with the Mergers IV Division of the Federal Trade Commission and Paralegal Specialist at the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice.
