Bio

Christine O’Connell represents major investment banks, private equity funds and various institutional lenders across the full spectrum of real estate finance transactions. Her practice focuses on the origination and restructuring of balance sheet, construction and CMBS mortgage and mezzanine loans secured by hotels, office buildings, multi-family housing complexes and industrial facilities throughout the United States.

Christine brings extensive experience and industry knowledge to structuring and negotiating complex loan transactions, including the restructuring and the exercise of remedies under such loans. She is experienced in working on the formation of joint ventures, corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies in connection with her representation of developers, investors, property managers, and hotel owners in a variety of transactions that include the purchase, sale, and financing of various real estate assets. Leveraging her breadth of experience, Christine has successfully advised prominent real estate lenders through periods of significant market distress and has emerged as a go-to attorney in the field.
