Carolyn Weltman is a senior associate based in the Chicago office and a member of King & Spalding's Products Liability and Mass Torts practice group. She represents clients from a variety of industries–including in the chemical, life sciences, aerospace, and energy sectors–facing both complex and high stakes commercial litigation throughout the country. Carolyn's practice emphasizes continuity across the life-cycle of a case, beginning with internal or government-led investigations, through discovery and motion practice, and culminating in either favorable settlement or trial.
Carolyn has experience serving as counsel in both multidistrict litigation and individual cases. She has represented clients in a broad array of matters, including environmental and toxic torts, insurance litigation, and restructuring actions. Carolyn also maintains a white collar practice which focuses on investigations, proactive and reactive risk management, and corporate criminal defense.
Carolyn is committed to pro bono work, concentrating her efforts on civil rights and immigration matters.
