Brian Jansen is a partner in the Finance and Restructuring practice group based in the firm’s Dallas office, who specializes in leveraged finance and commercial lending transactions. He advises lenders, private equity sponsors, and public and private companies on acquisition financings, working capital facilities, growth financings, and recapitalizations. Clients value his commercial judgment and practical approach to structuring solutions that support long term relationships and business objectives.
Brian concentrates his practice on representing lenders, private equity sponsors, and public and private companies in a broad range of financing transactions. His experience includes leveraged acquisition financings, working capital facilities, growth financings, recapitalizations, and related strategic financings across the credit spectrum.
Brian regularly counsels clients on a variety of debt investments, including senior secured credit facilities, syndicated financings, club deals, unitranche debt, second lien financings, mezzanine debt, and holdco notes. His ability to navigate complex capital structures allows clients to execute transactions efficiently while managing risk and preserving flexibility.
Industry experience spans technology, software, professional services, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, oilfield services. Across transactions, Brian is known for his collaborative approach and sensitivity to the importance of client relationships in the marketplace, advocating effectively for his clients while working constructively with counterparties to achieve practical, business-focused outcomes.
