Austin Saathoff is a litigation associate in the firm’s Dallas office. He represents clients in complex commercial disputes and government investigations, with experience in matters involving fraud, fiduciary duties, and contractual issues. His practice regularly involves accounting- and damages-intensive cases, drawing on prior work as a financial analyst supporting expert witnesses.
Austin Saathoff is a litigation associate in the firm’s Dallas office, where he represents clients in complex commercial disputes and government investigations. His practice includes fraud matters, disputes involving fiduciary duties, patent cases, and breach-of-contract claims, with experience across all phases of litigation from investigations through trial.
A substantial part of Austin’s practice involves cases presenting accounting and damages issues. He has experience applying accounting and financial principles in cases across various industries including energy, digital assets, and financial services.
Before joining the firm, Austin clerked for the Honorable Richard E. Myers II of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. As a judicial clerk, he worked on a broad range of civil and criminal matters, including motions practice, evidentiary issues, and trials. He previously practiced at another international law firm in Dallas.
Prior to law school, Austin worked as a financial analyst supporting senior professionals testifying in commercial disputes, securities matters, and government investigations. His accounting and finance background informs his work on damages analyses, financial records, and expert-related issues.
