Ashari Hankerson is an associate on the Special Matters and Government Investigations team in the Atlanta office.

Ashari previously worked as an Extern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina. She also externed for local non-profit, The Georgia Justice Project where she assisted in the defense of indigent clients. Ashari graduated from Duke University School of Law, where she served as an Editor for the Duke Journal of Comparative & International Law, along with maintaining leadership positions with the Black Law Student Association, First Class (First Generation Law Student) Organization, and Duke Law’s Innocence Project.

Ashari graduated from Georgia State University, summa cum laude, with a B.A. in Philosophy.
