Amy Eikel is a research and briefing specialist who assists torts and products liability case teams by preparing complex motions and briefs and revising work product from other lawyers. A former professional journalist who served as a federal judicial clerk at both the trial and appellate levels, she currently serves as national motions counsel in asbestos litigation for a former manufacturer, collaborating with national coordinating counsel and assisting local counsel nationwide.
Amy also has experience supervising discovery and document productions on a nationwide docket, revising briefing done by local counsel to assure consistency across the docket, advising local counsel on discovery disputes, and working with a corporate witness on discovery issues. Amy has for many years provided pro bono support for the nonpartisan Election Protection hotline, and she represents a young pro bono immigration client.
