Government Matters

Alexandra Volou is an associate in the Government Matters practice and a member of the firm’s International Trade team. Alexandra’s practice covers several aspects of international, EU, and UK trade law, including trade remedies, trade policy, and litigation. 

Before joining King & Spalding, Alexandra worked in international trade law and international arbitration at law firms in Brussels, Paris, and London. She also trained with the Legal Service of the European Commission (Common Foreign and Security Policy team) and the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes of the World Bank Group.

Alexandra is admitted to the Paris Bar, the Brussels Bar (E-list), and is also qualified in Cyprus (admission pending). She holds a Research Master of Laws in Public International Law and a Maîtrise (Master 1) in International Law from Paris Panthéon-Assas University. Prior to her postgraduate studies, she obtained a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Strasbourg.

She is fluent in English, French, and Greek.
