Alec Rubenstein is a senior associate in the New York office of King & Spalding and is a member of the firm’s Real Estate group. Alec represents institutional lenders, alternative lenders, debt funds, and construction lenders in originating loans intended for balance sheet, syndication, and securitization secured by commercial real estate projects of all asset types, including office, retail, hotel, multifamily, and industrial.
Alec primarily focuses on construction financing of commercial real estate developments, including hotels, retail properties, office buildings and multi-family complexes throughout the United States, as well as acquisition financing and refinancing for commercial real estate properties. He has particular experience in the origination and securitization of first mortgage debt, mezzanine loans, note-on-note financing and other structured finance products.
